Climbers Rescue Unit
The Gendarme Climbing Shop located behind Harper's Store in the community of Seneca Rocks maintains a trained rock climbing rescue unit.

Accommodations
Information on motels, restaurants and other services available outside of the Forest Service facilities in the NRA may be obtained by calling the Grant County Chamber of Commerce at: (304) 257-2722. There is a variety of lodging and restaurants available in the vicinity of Seneca Rocks.

Camping in the NRA
There are two developed Forest Service campgrounds with in the NRA. Seneca Shadows is on Route 33, one mile south of Seneca Rocks. Big Bend is reached by State Route 2, off of U.S. Route 220, approximately nine miles north of Upper Tract. Camping is allowed in the NRA outside of designated areas. Pack out what you pack in and remove all traces of your visit. There are also many commercial camping facilities and other lodging accommodations in the surrounding Potomac Highlands region.

Visitor Center Hours
The Seneca Rocks Visitor Center is open April 1 - October 31 daily from 9 - 5:30, (and from November 1 - March 31 on weekends only from 9-4:30).
